We have returned for the third time to the new neighborhood of Bassins á flot to see the vegetation grown and most of the projects completed. The compactness of the design breathes through squares, pedestrian paths and large courtyards.

The courtyard-house by Tania Concko Architects & Urbanists is characterized by a large central free space around which the units are laid out. In this case the bay is protected, both on the interior and on the exterior, by intermediate spaces -the access galleries in the courtyard and the private galleries on the facade. These spaces act as heat regulators. The site falls within the Terres Neuves Regenerat.

Situated by the Lake of Bordeaux, the stadium is part of the expansion of the city to the north.

It consists of a rectangular roof, supported by 900 columns that rise from the podium, in which is embedded the bold.

Site Area: 186'910 sqm Gross Floor Area: 77'090 sqm Number of Levels: 5 Footprint: 45'480 sqm Building Dimensions: Length 233 m; Width: 210 m ; Height: 3 7m.

This project is unusual due to the low-cost resources used to adapt a construction formerly used as office and workshop space. Intervention was undertaken on only half of the original fibre cement roofs which were later divided into two independent properties with a partition unseen from the outside.
