403 Architecture. The Wall of Zudaji. Hamamatsu. Japan
February 05, 2014
Replacing wooden pallets with plastic ones is making the existing stock in logistics companies obsolete. This situation led the architects to take advantage of the excess wood from the pallets to build a small storage building in a hotel courtyard. The structure was built using boards screwed together to form columns. The wood facade is protected by a layer of corrugated polycarbonate. The rest of the facades and the roof were built using corrugated aluminium-zinc alloy coated sheets.
