In order to take advantage of the only exterior space belonging to this vineyard house, without demolishing the existing extension, the architects chose to deploy a terrace-stand which begins at the front door of the dwelling and climbs up to top the extension. Access to the storage area is preserved by incorporating a hatch located at the centre of the stand. Using only one material, treated wooden boards, enhances the spatial perception and organises this formerly residual space.
