The dimensions of these two plots of the project Bassins à flot, located on the edges of an urban block along with existing protected structures, suggest the double block form as the first option: two parallel alignments with a void in between. Nonetheless, the Agence Nicolas Michelin & Associés enhanced this first decision by combining four typologies within each alignment. Each block contains ground floor dwellings with gardens, single-floor apartments, maisonettes and penthouses with terraces. The tower at the end of one of the elevations houses single-floor apartments of different sizes.
