One of the floors of the former telegraph building by Ivan Rerberg, 1927, has been converted to a shared workplace by Archiproba. The original concrete porticoes, with a height of 7 m between floor slabs, serve to organize the space which is well-lit by the 5.9 m high x 4.5 m wide openings. The coworking programme is combined in a leased activity area where all the elements are reconfigurable. The curtains, made of noise absorbent materials, divide off the different uses when necessary. The main driving force behind this project was the aim to restore the original character of the building by reclaiming the existing features and uncovering rather than adding.
