The upper gallery of an abandoned 1960s grain silo is the space where this project was undertaken. A 40 m long x 6.5 m wide unit was converted to an architectural studio located 38 m above the ground. By creating openings on the facade and making the most of the original materials the outcome was a setting with the appearance of an industrial shell into which less imposing elements could be inserted, such as the wooden crates which support the mezzanine level with the library, the desks, and the trees planted in the former openings for the grain pits.
