The article Hybrids versus Social Condenser published in Hybrids III. Residential Mixed-Use Buildings makes a comparative analysis between hybrids and social condensers. It includes a selection of buildings constructed between 1945 and 1975. Unité d'habitation, by Le Corbusier and P. Jeanneret, is one of this buildings.

"L’Unité of Marseilles was the first opportunity Le Corbusier had to build his machine à habiter, basic prototype of his green high-rise city, with all the services vertically integrated. The post-war reconstruction allowed him to repeat this model in five cities: Nantes-Rezé, Berlin, Meaux,
Briey-en Foret and Firminy-Vert. L´Unité is the result of all the attempts at liveable cells carried out since the 20s and combined for the first time in one single building, targeted at different types of middle class family groups. Heir to the experiments carried out by Ginzburg and Milinis in the Narkomfin building, it is equally set on pilotis, allowing the green space to flow on the ground floor. Unlike the Russian model, the common services are incorporated into the same section and it is built solely with prefabricated elements".
