a+t architecture publishers

We include in a+t magazine number 38 two parks recently completed in different locations in Berlin. Both will in a few years form part of a 7 km route in the city centre linking new interventions (among others the Mauerpark and the Berlin Wall memorial). In this case a large grass area comprising three recreational areas has been erected on the elevated platform of the former Stettin station. The park is the result of superimposing the successive historic layers on the site (the railway, the Berlin Wall and the years of abandonment after the reunification of Germany).
