This is another of the projects which given the scope we have been following from the very beginning. Without going into the overwhelming figures which have accompanied the tunnelling for the motorway, we echo the capacity for change of the new park which is spreading out over the tunnels. Apart from the visual enhancement of the ill-treated river banks, the disappearance of the background noise and the pollution or how the right bank neighbourhoods have been brought closer to the downtown area there has also been a transformation of the relationship of the city with the territory: Madrid Río has consolidated the network of natural spaces running from North to South through the metropolitan area.
