Aurora Fernández Per and Javier Mozas, co-authors of the Density books, took part last Friday at the seminar DENSITY-INTENSITY, within the Tampere Architecture Week (Finland), with the talk Density is Home.
The seminar discussed the importance of the infill to create high-quality and comfortable urban environment. There was a good turnout (250 people), partly due to the excellent organization of the event by the Tampere Architecture Week 2012 and the Finnish Centre for Architecture.
Professor Panu Lehtovuori, Tampere UT; Jonathan Woodroffe, from S333 Architecture + Urbanism; Ute Schneider, from KCAP Architects&Planners; and Jan Liesegang, from Raumlaborberlin, were lecturers at the seminar, too. The session was chaired by Juulia Kauste, director of the Museum of Finnish Architecture, and Ville Hara, from Avanto architects, commented the round table discussion.
