Brenac & Gonzalez. Mixed-use buildings. Paris. Revisited
May 04, 2010
The renovation of part of the block of the former Boucicaut hospital is implemented in these two mixed-use buildings finished in 2009. The two new buildings flank the front of the site on Convention Street and they are surrounded by gardens and two hard squares. One of these, on the corner of Lourmel Street, houses 16 social dwellings, a shelter for abused women and homeless people and a store. Regarding the building located on the corner of Lacordaire Street, it houses 20 social dwellings, sheltered housing for the elderly and two stores on the ground floor.
