The original project comprised two towers, one for housing and one for offi ces, which ended up becoming a single tower with residential use on the upper fl oors. The cut-off pyramid shape is a result of the structural need to combat the effects of the wind and adaptation of the residential space, with less need for depth of storey and greater exposure to the exterior. The outer structure also facilitates the interior distribution and solves the different needs of the stacked uses. The dwellings occupy 49 of the 100 storeys. The car park lot is located on 8 fl oors above ground level. The public circulation of users goes up to level 94 where an observation deck is located.
