The brick works and quarries in the Don river valley had interrupted the hydrological flows and broken up the continuity of the natural landscape which enters the city from the ravines. The project to renovate the factory and the surrounding territory required soil decontamination and re-routing run-offs. Furthermore, the quarries have been replanted and the accesses and pedestrian paths routed to facilitate the fluid flow of visitors around the site.
