'A heady blend of architectural criticism and ideology'

Architectural Review (Asia Pacific edition) number 132, entitled Residential, reviews the book 10 Stories of Collective Housing, by a+t research group.

As Michael Holt, editor of the magazine, says, 10 Stories is a "heady blend of architectural criticism and ideology, chronologically laid out - crossing scales, mediums, methods and locale".

Holt emphasizes that "the lineage between Hendrik Petrus Berlage's urban perimeter block negating a street buffer zone and internalised courtyards and Le Corbusier at Immeuble Villas, later revised by JJP Oud, and finally culminating in BIG's 8 House, is fascinating".
