S333. Block 3. Tarling East. London
July 18, 2012
The project updates the classic British terraced housing so as to re-establish the relationship with the street which was lost with Modernism. Here, the traditional typology is completed with two volumes for flats at both ends of the row of terraced houses. Furthermore, the usual back garden of the terraced houses is replaced by a courtyard, which enables the plot to be filled in and avoids inconvenient empty spaces.
