The building is laid out around a central void, something common in financial organizations, in a way that it is bordered by the circulations and the work areas are concentrated on the facade areas. This layout favour sightlines throughout the whole building from the lobby which was one of the client’s main objectives in an aim to give the impression of this being an engaged banking organization. In addition to this, an open auditorium was inserted into the lobby functioning as an informal work space both for employees and clients. This transforms the concept of the traditional operations area by turning the waiting areas into casual work spaces which clients can also use meaning unexpected encounters may occur between both types of users.
