Integrated living, as the author named the programme of flats and services, did not guarantee living as a community and the building became hell on earth for the tenants, who started leaving due to the lack of safety in the common spaces. However, the privatization of the housing in an area as appealing as Notting Hill and the new complex management system, incorporating surveillance systems, has managed to regenerate the building.
