A compact and homogenous volume concentrates the whole of the housing units on the west side of the lot, freeing up the rest of the surface as a back garden for residents. The project faces with the trend of identifying each inhabitant with his/her house. This school has given rise to the construction of buildings where the façade of each housing unit is different from the others and we owe to it a few cosmetic or volumetrical fantasies of doubtful quality.

On the contrary, here a neutral bamboo skin wraps around the houses, which face two sides, and is supported by a green base. On visiting, one cannot avoid thinking of the "soft and hairy architecture" that Dalí threatened Le Corbusier with, as he "seemed to swallow toads and snakes."
