The pine wood forests on the beach front were planted to protect the crops from the salt water environment. Nevertheless the intensive urbanization of the Mediterranean coast did away with a great deal of these spaces. The project intends to return one of the surviving spaces to the public, restoring the original environment of the pine forest, rationalizing tourist transit and preventing the effects of the floods.
