Amann, Cánovas, Maruri. El Hornillo wharf restoration. Águilas. Spain
February 18, 2011
In this publication we cover four recent works on tourist locations on the Spanish Mediterranean coast. We note a tendency towards the defence and recovery of this territory from the public sphere. As opposed to the short-term interests of mass construction, the public eye sets its long-term sights on the conservation of the environment or the historical heritage. In this sense the El Hornillo project serves as an efficient barrier against the attacks of real estate
on the Murcia coastline.
