The repurposing of this industrial unit as a property development office was based on preserving the visibility of the existing building, the block walls and the metal roof and acting on the interior with free-standing elements. Sustainable criteria, which are clear from a minimized use of materials, also influenced the choice of the timber, from Araucaria cunninghamii trees native to the area, to clad the boxes and for other elements used to build the space. Furniture was salvaged from former company offices or made from waste material.
