This project addressed the conversion of former offices into a new work space. This was one of the derelict buildings that had been part of the Vacant NL exhibition presented in the Dutch pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2010. Originally designed for one single company, the financial situation made it necessary to rethink the project and convert part of the building into offices to let with shared access. Given the change to the programme, the project architects put forward the idea of creating a live space in the access hub to make the activity on the different storeys visible and facilitate user interaction.
