 Optimizing space. Removing perimeter slopes

In the consolidated city the price of land increases in direct proportion to the accumulation  of private interests and free space is a scarce resource which needs to be used wisely. Optimizing space ensures maximum performance of the area set aside for public uses by citizens.

The existing slopes set the rest areas away from the edges of the park reducing the surface area. Due to filling this with earth, the park became a viewpoint over the city as it was now possible to see the street from any point on the raised platform.
