Onion Flats. Social housing. Philadelphia. United States
Patricia García - September 12, 2010. 11:00

This project explores the latent potentials hidden within the vertical rhythm and regularity of the Philadelphia row home. Thin faces fronting both Laurel and Pollard St. mask and question conventional lines of demarcation between neighboring parties. In the process, a degree of density yet expansiveness uncommon to the thin space of the single family and duplex Row home emerges both programmatically and experientially.
