BIG, Topotek1, Superflex. Superkilen. Copenhagen. Denmark

The Norrebro district in Copenhagen is home to a very diverse community encompassing 57 different cultures. A narrow strip of residual land continues the lengthways development of the neighbouring Norrebro Park and has been divided into three sections with different activities. The three areas (red, black and green) have been furnished with elements which come from the home countries of the residents of the district. This aims to bring the urban design closer to the roots of its users and to foster integration across race, religion, culture and languages.
