Given the adjacency to the future urban park and the North-South orientation of the site, the proposal was to compact the volume within the given height so that every unit will have double orientation east-west.

This office complex is being completed in the Zona Franca area, nearby the Calle A project. Two new buildings share the same block: this one, by FOA, and the adjoining one by Arata Isozaki.

Project published in HoCo Density Housing Construction and Costs

A compact and homogenous volume concentrates the whole of the housing units on the west side of the lot, freeing up the rest of the surface as a back garden for residents. The project faces with the trend of identifying each inhabitant with his/her house. This school has given rise to the construction of buildings where the façade of each housing unit is different from the others and we owe to it a few cosmetic or volumetrical fantasies of doubtful quality.
