The new theatre is located across from Hening Larsen's Opera, with a strip of water between them. The vocation of the public space of the building shows itself on the large wooden outer wall that surrounds it, separated from the interior by a covering of glass on three of its façades.

When we went to visit the homes, the architect in charge of the project, Heinrich Poulsen, told us that there were a total of 70 different types, for a total of 221 homes.

Project published in HoCo Density Housing Construction and Costs
A compact and homogenous volume concentrates the whole of the housing units on the west side of the lot, freeing up the rest of the surface as a back garden for residents. The project faces with the trend of identifying each inhabitant with his/her house. This school has given rise to the construction of buildings where the façade of each housing unit is different from the others and we owe to it a few cosmetic or volumetrical fantasies of doubtful quality.

Proyect published in THE PUBLIC CHANCE. New Urban Landscapes
On the edges of the current city, on an arid gypsum landscape, rapidly rises the extension of the Vallecas district. This urban planning project is part of an ambitious, voracious, anodyne enlargement operation that within a few years will have Madrid’s municipal area to the brim. This hostile fact has served as a reagent, with Ecosistema Urbano drawing up a proposal for an ecological boulevard, project published in The Public Chance. Winner of a competition organized by Madrid’s City Hall, the proposal calls for the building of three large cylinders along the boulevard, one of which has already gone up. The cylinders are to serve as catalysts of public life, thereby improving the generally poor quality of public space in city extensions of this kind.

I was at the Seville School of Architecture on 6th February, sharing our interests and concerns with the students. Under the title of "Densities, uses and other concerns," I reviewed the work we did in a+t, explaining our doubts and work method, showing architecture, urban planning and public spaces that respond to our vision of architecture and the city.
